Paleo diet curing physician of her multiple sclerosis

Dr. Terry Wahls, who was suffering from crippling symptoms of MS, has largely healed herself through eating food that promotes mitochondria.  She is highly critical of the standard American diet, heavy in carbs and processed foods.  She recommends nine cups daily of high nutrient vegetables, grass-fed meat, and organ meats.

Hat tip:  Dr. Michael R. Eades

Selling long positions in sugar was a bust.  But as Keynes said, “Markets can remain irrational a lot longer than you and I can remain solvent.”

  1. Yes, it is truly amazing, and great indication that the Paleo diet works–as are the many testimonies in Robb Wolf’s book, and the growing internet ground swell of people who swear by low-carb/paleo.

Now, does not Dr. Richard K. Bernstein recommend 9 cups of vegetables for his patients suffering from metabolic syndrome/diabetes. For me, at most 5 cups, but I often eat more like 3-4. But this lady is trying to replace certain nutrients to heal herself. Different pathologies, different cures. Same basic principles.
